Kerppola Lab Undergraduate Student Internships

I welcome your interest in an internship in the Kerppola Laboratory.  We plan each internship based on the interests and career goals of the student.  An internship is a major commitment for both the student and the laboratory.  You should therefore apply for an internship when you are sure that you have the time and the interest to persist in your pursuit of the educational and research goals of your project.  As a general guideline, you should make sure that you are able to consistently devote a minimum of 10 hours a week to your research project over at least two consecutive semesters.  Students are considered for internships on a rolling basis so it is to your advantage to apply when you have made sure that you are able to handle your current commitments and to take on something new without compromising your level of achievement in other areas.

The first step of the internship application is completion of a questionnaire (Link to form).  You will receive a confirmation by e-mail and you will be able to modify (edit) your responses after submitting the form.

I wish you success in your search for an internship that meets your educational and career goals!
